Safe Zone Training

Many LGBTQ people do not feel safe in their families, workplaces, places of worship, schools and communities.  Safe Zones wants to change this.  SZ is an interactive, non-judgmental conversation on sexuality and gender that seeks to raise awareness and help individuals and organizations become more welcoming spaces.  We discuss such topics as vocabulary, gender identity, sexuality, cultural competency and more.  For more information contact Mike Orrill at morrill@chaffeecounty.org, or 719-221-5418.
