FYI Youth classes:
- Towards No Drug Abuse (TND)- Targets first time offenders. Focuses on three factors that predict tobacco, alcohol, and other drug use, violence-related behaviors, and other problem behaviors among youth, including motivation factors, skills, decision-making. Class is 1.5 hr/week for 6 weeks, requires community service.
- Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT)-For second time offenders, non-drug related or youth with more serious offenses. MRT is an evidence-based cognitive-behavior curriculum and includes 20 hours of unsupervised useful public service. 1.5 hrs/week for 12 sessions with homework.
